Rack 14 runs south from the rack 11 bench front along the Service Bay / Charger Repairs line, open face east, with the desk at its south end.

Notes

  1. Confirmed. Bench at 0.9 (level 2), rack 6 is 3.7 long, rack 5 levels 1.1 / 1.8 / 3.0, rack 6 has no 1.1 level (floor kept clear for the forklift batteries), forklift reach 3.2. LED lights hang under the L3 beam, raised from 2.0 to 2.2 for head clearance (people 1.7–1.8 tall).
  2. 6 Nov drawing. The bench line along the 12.0 × 1.2 racking strip is racks 12, 11, 10 and 9, each 3.1 (12.4 total). It runs from the west edge of the Service Bay and stops 0.65 short of the east line. The east line along the 0.8 × 26.1 wall racking runs north to south: rack 4 (3.2), rack 5 (2.85), rack 6 (3.7), racks 7 and 8 (3.1 each). Rack 13 (3.1) runs south from the west end of the bench line. Rack C is not on the drawing and has been removed.
  3. Rack 14 replaces blue racks A and B. It is one 3.1 × 0.9 rack with levels at 1.0 / 1.6 / 2.2 / 3.1 (same as racks 11 and 15), running south from the rack 11 bench with the desk at its south end. Depth 0.9 and the east-facing open side are assumed. The back (Service Bay side) is covered by a 3.1 × 4.0 plywood tool board, floor to 4.0 (full rack height), with hooks for backpacks, a hi-vis vest and hand tools. The board line carries on north through rack 11 as a 0.9-deep, 4.0-high divider, so one continuous board separates the Service Bay from Charger Repairs. Rack 11 is split into a 1.2 bay on the Service Bay side and a 1.9 bay on the Charger Repairs side.
  4. Whole floor zones come from the Kinetic floor plan v2.1 (3 Nov), which is not survey-accurate.
  5. New racks (proposal, dashed levels). Wall racking along the Training/Testing Bay and Projects is three racks, 1, 2 and 3 (each 3.2 × 0.9, 9.6 total), running up to rack 4. The whole east line (racks 1 to 8) starts at the north-east corner of the Training/Testing Bay and runs south with no gaps. Every rack in the line has a wooden board across its back (wall side), floor to 4.0. Levels are kept under the 3.2 m forklift reach. No rack has a 4.0 beam; the uprights still stand 4.0 tall. There is also a long stock rack in the Cutting/Noise Room and two consumables shelving units off the left walkway.
  6. Desk. A 1.2 × 0.6 computer desk, 0.8 high, stands against the south end of rack 14, with a monitor, keyboard, PC and chair. You sit facing north, towards the rack end.
  7. Toilets. The two toilets beside the left walkway are 3.0 m high rooms with doors on the walkway side, both next to the shared middle wall, sized from the floor plan (about 4.5 × 4.2 and 4.5 × 3.8).
  8. Switchboards area comes from your Switchboards_Area_3D_N layout: goods-in, entry aisle, assembly (3a), wiring (3b), QA and dispatch (5/6), tracker screen, test supply and department sign. The long stock rack is shortened to 6.0 m to keep the cutting-room double door clear. The floor plan's Ladders spot (2.0 × 1.0) sat on the entry aisle, so it is removed and needs a new home. The parts / stores racking down the east side is removed; that 0.6 strip is now the access aisle to racks 7 and 8, which hold the switchboard consumables. Rack 7 (north, by goods-in and assembly): cable drums on the floor; conductor reels at 1.1 (brown, black, grey, blue, green/yellow, red, white, yellow, three rows deep); slotted duct, DIN rail and gland bins at 1.8; busbar overstock at 3.0. Rack 8 (south, by wiring and QA): offcut tubs and gland plates on the floor; terminal-block bins and screw/nut bins at 1.1; lug and ferrule drawer units with the label printer, label rolls, tape and heat shrink at 1.8; boxed overstock at 3.0. Everyday items stay at 1.8 and below; 3.0 is forklift only.
  9. Service Bay. Rack 12 is a workbench (bench 0.9 with a 0.4 back cover, lights under 2.2, then 3.0), facing south into the Service Bay. Rack 11 is storage only. Rack 11 holds the overflow stock from the orange racking photo that did not fit on rack 4, on the Charger Repairs side of the divider only (floor, 1.0, 1.6, 2.2 and 3.1; racks 11, 14 and 15 share the levels 1.0 / 1.6 / 2.2 / 3.1). The Service Bay side is left empty: no chargers are kept on the Service Bay side of the divider. Still without a place: the blue charger on its pallet and the black crates with grey units. Both are 3.1 long. They continue the rack 9–10 line west along the racking strip, with the open face south. The rest of the bay is open floor.
  10. Battery test station takes the left 0.8 of rack 9's bench, as seen standing at the bench (the end next to rack 10). Connector box sits at bench height. Inverters, control panel, DB and lamp are on a board behind, 1.1 to 2.1 high. Panel sizes are estimated from the photo.
  11. Bench back cover. Every workbench (racks 9, 10, 12 and 13) has a 0.4 high wooden cover along the back, from the bench top (0.94) up to 1.34. On rack 9 it stops at the battery test station, which has its own back board. Racks 9, 10, 12 and 13 also have a wooden back panel closing the first level, from the floor up to the 0.9 beam. On rack 11 the back panel goes from the floor up to the L4 beam at 2.2.
  12. Bench kit is an example fit-out styled on the 4 Nov workbench photo. Rack 9 is board repair: ESD mat, magnifier lamp, bench power supply, oscilloscope, soldering station, multimeter, hand tools, parts drawers and the red tool chest. Rack 10 is charger diagnostics: DC load tester, a charger on test, test leads, laptop, lug crimper, drill, parts bins, clamp meter and wall-mounted 3-phase sockets. Under-bench tubs and cable coils, plus an anti-fatigue mat along the front.
  13. Charger sizes are estimated from the 4 Nov photo using the 2.6 m bays and the 1.1 / 1.8 shelves as scale. Accuracy is about ±5–10 cm.
  14. Bays. Each rack is one bay of the stated length. Racks 5–6 and 9–10 sit end to end.

Charger fit · Racks 5, 6, 9 & 15

28 chargers from the 4 Nov photo. Codes follow where each one sits today: T = top shelf, M = middle shelf, F = floor, S = small units at the back right, numbered left to right. Usable width per level is 3.54 on rack 6 (3.7 less two uprights) and 2.69 on rack 5 (2.85 less two uprights). The floor and L2 chargers have moved from rack 6 to rack 5; F8 and M1 did not fit there and sit on rack 5 L3. Battery boxes are not included.
